WATER VALLEY – A century has passed since world leaders signed the Armistice ending World War I on Nov. 11, 1918, an occasion that will be marked Sunday at the VFW Post 4100 at the same time with a Veteran’s Recognition Day.
The community is invited to attend the service at 11 a.m. at the post home, located at 11535 Hwy. 315, west of Water Valley.
State representative Tommy Reynolds will be the guest speaker. A light lunch will follow the program.
