WATER VALLEY – After the threat of severe weather spoiled the plans for Christmas in the Valley last Friday night, the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce reports the popular event has been rescheduled for Friday night, Dec. 14.
The Chamber has engaged the horse-drawn carriages and everything is “on” again, reported Chamber Publicity Chairman Linda White.
The lineup remains the same as before and families are encouraged to come out on the 14th and enjoy all of the food and fun from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Carriage ride tickets will be available at the Chamber office for $3 per person. There’s a new route for the carriage rides this year, new opportunities for Christmas photos, and some great food choices.
Be sure to have your photos taken with Santa, free of charge. “Frosty” will return, bringing snow with him, and “Anna” and “Elsa” and the “Grinch” and “Cindy Lou Who” will be the newest guests to make a trip to Main Street and get in on the action.
This event is sponsored by the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce with other organizations also participating.
